The short walks operate every second Tuesday during the school term. They normally start at 10.00pm from the Scout Headquarters in Keptie Road and cover a distance of 2 to 4 miles and take approximately 1.5-2 hours. Some of the walks involve the use of cars or a bus. There are a number of excellent local walks in the countryside around the town and also interesting walks along the seafront and the cliffs.  There will time at the end of the walk for a "cuppie" or light lunch together.
